Swearing and cursing is not allowed.  The books have to support the Ten Commandments.  For example, if a character lies, and the author shows the action to be wrong and harmful, the book could still be recommended.  An example is Edmund in the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.  His lie is shown to be harmful. The point of this blog is to enable educators or parents to find valuable books for their children.
